Inverted tooth chain
An inverted tooth camshaft drive chain has teeth on its links and 2 pin rolling pivot joints that engage each other to transmit moderate to high-speed rotations. This type of drive chain is also known as a silent chain drive, which is particularly effective in reducing noise and vibration.
